I know that I’m pretty materialistic, but sometimes that bothers me and other times I just love it. I’ve been seeming to have a lot more issues with this after I received a check from financial aid at the beginning of the year. All I ever spend my money on is makeup, clothes, and gas. In my entire life, I’ve never had a job and everything has always been handed right to me. I want to be able to do something more meaningful with my money than spending it on stuff or putting it away to savings. Sure, saving it is great but I feel like there’s something better than doing just that. I want to be able to donate to some sort of cause that needs it more than I do. I tend to forget the fact that there are others in this world that aren’t as fortunate as I am, so I need a bit of a reality check.
